MIRPUR ( AJK): September. 26 (APP): Azad Jammu and Kashmir Minister Dr. NIsar Ansar Abdali Tuesday called on Turkiye’s Ambassador to Pakistan Mehmet Paçaci in the federal metropolis and discussed matters of mutual interests including the exchange of bilateral cooperation between Turkiye and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
The First Secretary, Trade Ambassador, and Education Council Minister of the Turkiye government were also present on the occasion.
The minister extended congratulations to the new Turkiye government, while the envoy warmly welcomed Dr. Nisar Ansar Abdali to the Turkiye embassy.
Among the key topics discussed, there was a shared desire to establish a Turkish language center in Kashmir, promoting the Turkish language and culture. Additionally, plans were made to facilitate admissions for students in Turkish medical institutions.
Highlighting opportunities for collaboration, Turkish companies were invited to engage in construction projects in Azad Kashmir. These projects encompassed crucial areas such as hydraulic power generation, infrastructure development, waste management, and municipal services.
In the fields of health, education, and agriculture, both sides emphasized the importance of technology transfer and regulatory aspects in joint projects.
Dr. Nisar Ansar Abdali proposed a training visit for newly elected local representatives from Kotli district, Azad Kashmir, to Turkey, organized under the district government’s management.
Additionally, an invitation was extended to the Turkish Ambassador to participate in the Khoi Ratta Mela, with a commitment to full cooperation and involvement.
This meeting signals a promising step toward enhanced collaboration and cultural exchange between Turkey and Azad Kashmir. Both parties expressed their commitment to furthering these initiatives for mutual benefit.
